REACT offers a number of programs and services.
SERVICES
Professional Education >​​
We offer courses for Texas Education Agency (TEA) and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) credit. Our courses are designed to support your understanding and awareness of issues pertaining to global majority populations. Many of our courses meet ASHA's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion continuing education requirements.
Global Education >​​
We support the needs of global majority communities worldwide. We serve schools, hospitals, clinics, and individuals by offering consultation, professional development, and special education services. Our goal is to make sure that individuals and organizations have access to education and specialized support on a global level.
Mentoring >​​
REACT offers mentoring for early career professionals and post-secondary students in the fields of education and speech-language pathology. We establish relationships and build community to help promote more agency and equitable access among global majority populations.
Youth Programs >​​
We provide services geared toward improving educational outcomes for students from historically marginalized communities. We meet needs by offering mentoring, tutoring, providing school/dorm supplies, and offering educational trips and activities to promote learning. The Culture We Speak Podcast
REACT Sponsors The Culture We Speak, a podcast examining the intersection of culture, language, and education. This serves as a platform to decenter mainstream gaze and offer resources to improve educator effectiveness in serving global majority populations.
Respect the Dialect
Respect the Dialect is an online community that was created to foster open and honest dialogue about African American English (AAE)
Business Turning Point
Business Turning Point is a collaborative group supported by REACT Initiative, Inc. and Rise to Bloom with Jonnita Deveroux. The group is designed to provide a community of consultative support, mentoring, networking, and resources for those establishing and developing businesses.
Back-to-School Supplies
REACT Initiative, Inc. provides back-to-school supplies for selected low-income communities each year. We believe in giving back so that students can start the year strong.
