Who we serve:
REACT Initiative, Inc. has partnered with schools in Ouagadougou,
Burkina Faso and Rodrigues, Mauritius to support the educational and communicative needs of the students and their families.
What we do:
We provide therapy services, parent support, and teacher support for individuals and organizations overseas. Those we serve might not otherwise have access to specialized services. We are always looking for committed educators, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), graduate student clinicians, speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs), occupational therapists (OT), and physical therapists (PT).
Earn clinical hours:
Volunteering with REACTservice is a great way for SLPAs to gain experience or for graduate clinicians to earn clinical hours toward graduation. We strongly encourage you to explore supervisory options in your professional network, but REACT can also assist with finding supervising SLPs to oversee service delivery.
Have it your way:
For our licensed SLPs, you can contribute by supervising SLPAs and/or graduate clinicians, or by providing direct services to our clients. We ask that volunteers serve a minimum of one hour per month, but they are welcome to commit to as many hours as they like during a week/month.
Interested in donating service toward this mission? Take a moment to complete the volunteer application form and we will be in touch. Thank you for considering giving through REACT Initiative, Inc.
